About wragwa
WRAGWA is an unincorporated alliance formed in 2021, bringing together six major wildlife rehabilitation centres across Western Australia. Its founding members include WA Wildlife, Kanyana Wildlife, Darling Range Wildlife Shelter, and Perth Wildlife Hospital, with Kaarakin Black Cockatoo Conservation Centre and Mandurah Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre joining the alliance in 2025.
WRAGWA is always seeking additional wildlife rehabilitation organisations and individuals to join the alliance as either Members or Associate Members. By working together as a united sector, we can improve outcomes for wildlife and create a stronger collective voice for wildlife welfare and conservation across Western Australia.
If you are interested in becoming involved, please review the membership criteria below and contact us to discuss how you can contribute to the alliance.

WRAGWA aims to become the peak body representing wildlife rehabilitators in Western Australia by improving sector coordination, influencing policy, securing funding and advancing standards to better protect wildlife and support rehabilitators.
It has no formal powers or authority and operates in an advisory capacity only, with no ability to direct the actions of groups or individuals, instead providing information, guidance and support to organisations and rehabilitators across the sector in WA.
